I advise you before you start developing an SEO strategy, study and analyze your target audience, your competence and, of course, be clear about what goals you want to achieve; if you want to increase traffic, improve your brand reputation, or increase your domain authority (among others).
One thing you should keep in mind is that there are many tools on the Internet, free and paid, that can help you get better positioning results in no time.
There are so many that, for that reason, in this post, I want to leave you a list of those that for me is the most effective and practical:
SEMrush among your favorite SEO tools
It stands out for the different solutions it presents, both to develop a powerful content strategy and to create content suitable for a specific audience.
It also allows you to audit your existing content to understand which formats work best and, ultimately, to detect opportunities for improvement.
One of the most useful tools in terms of content marketing optimization is, without a doubt, SEMrush.
But what I like most about SEMrush, is that it offers you tools to create SEO-friendly content, giving you semantically related words to your target keyword. It even gives you recommendations for a specific location (ideal for optimizing your local SEO).
Mangools tools
It is a very powerful tool that, even in its free version, has many utilities. Mangools tools encompass a group of tools, each for a specific purpose:
Search for keywords (KWFinder).
Analyze SERPs (SerpChecker).
Track keywords (SerpWatcher).
Analyze incoming links or backlinks (LinkMiner).
Perform basic website analysis (SiteProfiler).
Google Analytics
This Google tool is a staple for any project. And it's totally free, so it would be a mistake not to take advantage of it.
Data such as the number of people who visit your site, where they are, or where they come from, is critical information to consider from Google Analytics to make good decisions for your business.
Note: It won't help you to get your actions and positioning strategies up, if you don't then measure the results to make improvements or changes.
Google Search Console
This is another free Google tool which has the function of reviewing the indexing status of pages on a website on the Internet. And from which you can make modifications to optimize a website.
Among other features of Google search console we have:
Information about the website traffic you manage.
Sending and checking the Sitemap.
Posting the internal and external links of the site.
Identify keywords that users have used to reach your site.
Statistics on indexing and errors made.
Ahrefs
This is one of the most complete tools to work on a backlinks strategy, as it gives you data and reports on the incoming links that a website has, whether it is our competition or not.
Utilities: In addition to this link data, Ahrefs is also useful because we can know thanks to this tool whether the links are dofollow or nofollow and whether they are of quality or not, by looking at the domain authority.
SimilarWeb
Generally speaking, SimilarWeb is used to view your website traffic; where you can get data on the bounce rate, monthly visits, page visits, and the average duration of users' stay time on the website.
Ideal for use on your competitors' websites, don't you think?
SEOProfiler
This is a very complete resource to start your first SEO (On-page and Off-Page) campaigns. And although it has a free version, it's much more worth its paid version.
With SEOProfiler you can:
Audit your entire website.
Analyze your position through its ranking.
Analyze incoming links.
Build new links (link building) thanks to its recommendations.
Track advertising in Adwords.
Improve your website with your suggestions and ideas.
Screaming Fog
Screaming Fog is key to detecting any bug on-site; indexing errors, crawl failures, redirects, canonicalization, as well as those that occur in title, meta description, or images.
Woorank
Another SEO tool that offers a complete view of the web is Woorank.
With it, you can get information about your visitors. But on more technical SEO issues, it provides information about keywords, image status, URLs, or related information about internal pages.
Moz Rank
Like Ahrefs, this is another tool that you should use if you are developing a link building strategy.
On the one hand, Moz's own algorithm measures the relevance and number of incoming links on a site. And on the other hand, it provides reports on the quality of the links.
